Graduation - Certificate III in Community Service and Certificate II in Hospitality
enVizion Group had much to celebrate with the recent graduation of Certificate II in Hospitality and Certificate III in Community Service students through enVizion's Pathways for your Future Program which is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government through its Skilling Queenslanders for Work initiative. Many of the graduates overcame serious adversity to complete their programs making their achievements even more commendable. The path forward for graduates includes potential employment in hotels, restaurants, cafes, youth work, disability services and many other community service sectors.
enVizion's CEO, Julie-ann Lambourne, who is overcoming personal health issues, spoke about the importance of resilience during tough times and how grit and determination can lead to success. She spoke about how some days can feel like you’re struggling to breathe, and how to persist through tough times.
We were also honoured to have Mr. Michael Healy MP join us to present the students with their completion certificates. He spoke with emotion about his passion for education and gave words of praise and encouragement to the students.
The icing on the cake ( pun intended ) was the Foundations For The Future students who catered for and served the guests with the help of trainer Jeff Quigley. These students will go on to compete the Certificate II in Hospitality or Certificate III in Community Service following in the footsteps of our current graduates in service industries. enVizion Group is all about job outcomes and will continue to provide support and market their students until they gain paid employment.
Well done to all involved, especially to trainers Maria, Sue, Freida, and Jeff.
